ULTRAMED, INC. was incorporated as a Michigan corporation on 5-24-1988. Our primary mission and business is the development of biomedical diagnostic instruments and equipment. We are NOT associated with any other business using the name ULTRAMED either in this country or abroad. Click RESEARCH for a brief outline of a couple of our projects.

As a result of our biomedical product development business we are in close contact with many leading medical research centers. This has given us access to high quality equipment that in some cases was only used a few times before being declared surplus due to completion of some specialized R&D project. We are able to acquire this equipment at very attractive prices and we remarket it to help support our own research and continuing operations. We also purchase equipment nationally for resale to our domestic and International clients.

Some of our long term clients are Johns Hopkins Medical School, Harvard University Medical School, N.I.H., and many other leading facilities. We also serve the International market with quality preowned medical and scientific equipment.

We specialize in furnishing research oriented equipment to the scientific community and in many cases we can help
you select equipment that is appropriate to your application with tremendous cost savings over purchasing new gear.
Ultramed, Inc. is also a major wholesaler of medical and scientific equipment to the dealer trade. Our 'large lot' sales
offer even greater cost savings over our catalog prices.

All of the equipment we select for resale is from top manufacturers such as Acuson, ATL, Biosound, General Electric, Hewlett-Packard, Hitachi, Nikon, Olympus, Zeiss, and similar. Quality is the first consideration in our remarketing efforts and we strive to offer the absolute maximum value in all of our offerings. We started marketing preowned equipment on the Internet in 1994 and we are proud to say that all of our customers have indicated that our products have by far exceeded their expectations for quality and value.
